A temporary secret-delivery service for passwords, API keys, access codes, and confidential text.
OneTime Link is designed to reduce the number of reusable secrets left inside email, team chat, support tickets, and other systems built for long-term retention.
When you create a link, the secret is transmitted to the application over HTTPS and encrypted by the server before it is stored. The server also holds the key required to decrypt the secret for the intended retrieval. For that reason, OneTime Link is not a zero-knowledge or end-to-end encrypted service.
How the service works
- Create a secret and select an expiration period.
- Optionally protect the retrieval with an additional passphrase.
- Send the generated URL to the intended recipient through a trusted channel.
- After successful retrieval, the active secret record is deleted and the same URL can no longer reveal it.
- If the link is never used, the secret is removed after expiration.
What the service is for
One-time delivery can be useful for temporary passwords, onboarding credentials, API tokens, recovery information, Wi-Fi credentials, PINs, and short confidential notes that should not remain directly visible in permanent conversation history.
What the service is not for
OneTime Link is not a permanent password vault. Credentials that need long-term storage, shared access control, auditing, automated rotation, or repeated retrieval belong in an appropriate password manager or secrets-management platform.
